Terms of service
These terms set out how JUJU sells to you. They cover browsing this site, placing an order, and what each of us is responsible for once that order is placed. They are written in plain language on purpose. There is no separate small print. Effective 21 September 2026.
Overview
This store is operated by [TODO: LEGAL_NAME] ([TODO: BUSINESS_TYPE]), [TODO: ADDRESS] ("JUJU", "we", "us"). By placing an order you accept these terms as they read on the day you order. If you do not accept them, please do not order.
JUJU is a small independent label. We cut limited runs, release three drops a year and do not restock. Several of the clauses below exist only because of that — stock is finite, and once a run is closed it is closed.
Orders and Acceptance
Adding a piece to your bag does not reserve it. Stock is only allocated when your order is placed, so a size can sell out while it is sitting in your bag.
When you place an order you are making an offer to buy. The confirmation page and the email that follows acknowledge that we have received the order — they are not yet our acceptance of it. The contract between us is formed when we dispatch the parcel and send you a tracking reference.
Until then we may decline an order. In practice that happens for four reasons: the piece has sold out between checkout and packing, the price or description was obviously wrong, we cannot deliver to the address given, or the order looks like bulk buying for resale. We may also cap the number of units one person can take from a drop.
If we decline or cancel, we refund the full amount you paid and that is the end of our obligation. Every order carries a reference beginning JU-. Keep it — it is how we find your order.
Pricing and Payment
Prices are shown in Indian rupees (₹) and include GST where it applies. Shipping, where it applies, is shown separately in your bag and again at checkout before you pay. Nothing is added after that.
Prices can change. The price you pay is the price displayed when you place the order; we do not adjust an order after a later markdown, and we do not raise the price of an order already placed. If a price is obviously wrong — a decimal in the wrong place, a piece listed far below cost — we are not bound by it. We will contact you, and you can either confirm at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
We accept Razorpay (cards, UPI, net banking and wallets, once enabled) and Cash on Delivery. Online payments are taken when you place the order; card and UPI details are handled by the payment provider and never reach us. Cash on Delivery orders are paid in cash to the courier when the parcel arrives, and we may confirm a Cash on Delivery order by phone before dispatch. If a payment fails, is reversed or is charged back, or a Cash on Delivery parcel is refused without reason, we may cancel the order or decline Cash on Delivery for future orders.
Shipping and Delivery
We deliver within India. Standard shipping is free on orders of ₹2,000 and over. Below that a flat ₹120 is added, shown in your bag before you pay.
Orders placed before 14:00 are dispatched the same working day. Standard delivery arrives in 2–4 working days after dispatch. You will receive a tracking reference by email as soon as the parcel leaves us. The full detail is in our shipping policy.
Those windows are estimates, not guarantees. Carrier delays, weather and public holidays are outside our control, but tell us and we will chase the carrier on your behalf. If a parcel has not arrived ten working days after dispatch, contact us and we will open a claim and either replace the order or refund it.
Risk passes to you when the parcel is delivered to the address you gave. If a parcel comes back to us because the address was incomplete or nobody could take delivery, we will contact you to arrange a resend; the second shipment is charged at cost.
Returns and Refunds
You may return most new, unworn items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Pieces must come back unworn and unwashed, with tags attached and in a condition we could sell again. We cover the return postage when the return is the result of our error — the wrong item, a fault, or damage in transit. Otherwise return postage is yours.
To start a return, contact us with your order reference — the one beginning JU- on your confirmation email — and we will send return instructions and the address. Do not send a parcel back without them; we cannot match an unmarked return to an order.
We do not run exchanges. Runs are limited and a size held for an exchange is a size taken off the site, so return for a refund and reorder while the size is still live. The full detail, including refund timings and how Cash on Delivery orders are refunded, is in our refund policy. None of this affects your statutory rights.
Product Descriptions and Colour
We photograph in daylight and retouch as little as we can, but screens differ. The colour on your display is a guide, not a match, and a black on one monitor is not the black on another.
Our heavier cotton is garment-dyed, so shade varies slightly from batch to batch and softens with washing. Knit and ripstop carry small irregularities from the loom. Both are part of how the cloth is made and are not faults.
Measurements in each product's size chart are taken flat and may vary by up to 2 cm. Weights, fibre composition, care instructions and country of origin are shown on every product page and are accurate at the time of publishing; we may substitute a trim or thread for one of equal or better quality without notice.
Intellectual Property
The JUJU name, the three-star mark, our garment designs, patterns, photography and the words on this site belong to us or are licensed to us. Buying a piece buys you the piece, not the rights in it.
You may browse, download and print pages from this site for your own personal use. You may not reproduce our photography or copy in a commercial listing, put our mark on goods, or copy the site in whole or in part for a competing storefront. Automated scraping of the catalogue is not permitted. We do act against counterfeits.
If you post a photograph of a piece and tag us, we may ask whether we can reshare it. We will always ask first, and we will not use your image without your permission.
Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing here affects your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
Beyond that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or any loss arising because a piece sold out, a drop closed, or the site was unavailable. Our total liability in connection with an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
The site is provided as it is. We do not promise uninterrupted availability and we may take it down for maintenance or between drops. Information published here is for guidance, not professional advice.
Privacy and Data
We collect only what an order needs and we do not sell your data. How we handle personal data under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 — what we collect, who receives it, how long we keep it and your rights — is set out in our privacy policy.
Governing Law
These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of India. Subject to your rights as a consumer to approach the consumer commission where you live or where the cause of action arose, the courts at [TODO: JURISDICTION_CITY] have jurisdiction.
If any clause here is found unenforceable, it is severed and the remainder stands. If we do not enforce a term straight away, we have not waived it.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms as the label grows. The effective date at the top always shows the last change, and the current version lives here.
The version in force on the day you place an order governs that order. A later change never applies backwards.
Contact and Grievances
Questions about an order, a return or anything on this page go to jujuintownthoothukudi@gmail.com or [TODO: PHONE]. Quote your JU- reference and we will answer within one working day.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can write to our Grievance Officer, as required by the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020: [TODO: GRIEVANCE_OFFICER_NAME], [TODO: GRIEVANCE_OFFICER_DESIGNATION], [TODO: GRIEVANCE_OFFICER_CONTACT]. We acknowledge every complaint within 48 hours and resolve it within one month of receiving it.
